About Me

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care in a private practice setting for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with:

  • Excessive worry, ruminations, panic

  • Mood fluctuations, hopelessness, loss of joy or interests

  • Intrusive disturbing thoughts, compulsive repetitive behaviors

  • Trauma-related stress, nightmares, flashbacks

  • Motivation and attention challenges

Care may include medication management, supplements, and supportive guidance—always tailored to you, your goals, and your values.

My Approach

I believe mental health care works best when it’s grounded in trust, transparency, and respect. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered—not pressured or reduced to a checklist. I practice collaborative, trauma-informed psychiatric care.

That means:

  • You’re an active participant in decisions about your care

  • Medication is a tool—not a requirement

  • I focus on the whole person, not just symptoms

  • Questions and ambivalence are welcome

Sessions are conversational and unhurried. I take time to understand your history, what’s working, what hasn’t, and what you’re hoping for—so we can build a plan that actually fits your life.
